My Hunny is going out-of-town. Typically, the idea of this would send my heart in a tizzy because I would have been preparing for deployment as I did for twenty years. Retirement! Whew is it sweet! So instead of what the USMC would always do--keep him longer than they said--the "new job" is letting him come home a night earlier than they/we had planned. Oh, civilian life. I do miss the "Marine Corps days" but am so thankful for the memories and am glad for DH's civilian job that doesn't deploy! Go Peabody!
